Big Country for Mitchell Robinson: Done the Swift Stitch way

When Mitchell Robinson brought us his 2005 Chevy Cateye pickup, the vision was clear from day one: Big Country, done the Swift Stitch way. This build wasn’t about subtle accents or playing it safe — it was about taking a classic truck and pushing it into uncharted territory while keeping it refined, intentional, and unmistakably custom.

Big Country Meets Craftsmanship

This Cateye interior was completely reimagined using RealTree material as the foundation. Instead of treating camo as an afterthought, we designed the entire interior around it — blending rugged, outdoorsman DNA with high-end upholstery execution.

The seats feature custom upholstery with RealTree inserts, precision stitching, and one of our favorite details of the entire build: custom MR logos embedded directly into the seats — and yes, they light up. It’s a subtle flex until the lights come on, and then it steals the show.

Custom Starlight Headliner & Door Cards

Taking things even further, we installed a custom starlight headliner, transforming the cabin into an experience once the sun goes down. The stars add depth and atmosphere while still fitting the Big Country theme — proof that luxury and rugged can coexist.

The door cards were fully custom as well, tying the RealTree material seamlessly into the rest of the interior so nothing feels out of place. Every panel, seam, and transition was designed to feel factory-inspired but undeniably one-off.

One-Off Details That Set It Apart

No Swift Stitch build is complete without the details — and this one is loaded:

• Custom RealTree steering wheel, wrapped and stitched to match the interior

• Custom RealTree speedometer, carrying the theme straight into the driver’s line of sight.

• Custom seatbelts to complete the cohesive look from top to bottom.

Every touchpoint inside the truck reinforces the same message: this isn’t a catalog build — it’s a statement.
